Kilmallock 4-17 South Liberties 0-16

Kilmallock continued their good start with a 4-17 to 0-16 win over South Liberties. They were 1-10 to 0-5 ahead at half time. An Oisín O’Reilly goal after ten minutes put Kilmallock ahead 1-2 to 0-2 and from then on ‘the green and whites’ never looked in danger. Six points without reply from Paddy O’Loughlin, Eoin Ryan, Jake Mulcahy and Paudí O’Brien brought the scoreline to 1-9 to 0-4 with half-time approaching. Brian Ryan pointed from a free for Liberties but almost immediately Paudí O’Brien raised another white flag to send the sides in at the end of the first half with Kilmallock leading 1-10 to 0-5.

Kilmallock dominated the second half and three quick goals – two from Graeme Mulcahy and another from the impressive Oisin O’Reilly ended the game as a contest.
