A beautiful evening brought out a good crowd to Fitzgerald Park for what was always going to be a close encounter
Kilmallock started the more positive and a great goal and a point from play from Barry Sheedy, a point from Kieran Kenneally and one from Conor Barry and Conor Staunton pointing four frees put the Baalbec 1-7 to 0-6 up at half time.
There were some good individual displays by all of the lads.
Another opportunist goal and a point from Barry Sheedy, two great points from Liam O’Gorman a point from Kieran Kenneally and Bennie Burke rounded off by four placed balls and one from play from Conor Staunton put the final result finishing 2-17 to 0-12.
This was a great win.
