Kilmallock GAA Development Plan – Official Launch

The official launch of the Kilmallock GAA Development Plan by Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael Áogán Ó Fearghail will take place on Wednesday 20th September 2017 in Deebert Hotel at 8:00 p.m.

The GAA President, who was in Kilmallock in 2015 to launch Our Proud Heritage – A History of Kilmallock GAA, was delighted to be invited to launch our plans for the future.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend this historic event.

Over the past months the Committee has been working tirelessly to plan the future of this club.

We now have a plan that will see us strengthen our playing and ground operation facilities in the coming years. The longer term plan will see improved facilities for players and members. The Development will also have a gymnasium and an all-weather playing pitch. As part of the initial plan we sought planning permission from Limerick City & County Council and thankfully we have been successful with the planning application.

As with all development plans we will be seeking financial support for the venture. Currently we are awaiting a response to our application to the 2017 Sports Capital Grant Programme. Applications for assistance will also be sent to Croke Park and The Munster Council.

We are also asking for financial support for the project from our members and supporters. We hope that supporters of Kilmallock GAA Club and the green and white jersey will come with us and support this development. The development is not about change. It is about progress and bringing our facilities to a new level which will benefit all. The development is for the future generations who stand to gain immeasurably from this new facility.

You are part of Our Proud Heritage – you have seen the history – now please join us on Wednesday 20th September as we start building a bright future for our great club.
