We advanced to the County football final after an emphatic display against Fr Caseys in Rathkeale last Sat. After the disappointment of going out to eventual winners Na Piarsaigh in the hurling semi, this was just the reply we needed. From the outset we dominated this game with good football, dicipline and a genuine work ethic from 1 to 25. Paidi Sheedy was particularly devastating from play and recorded a big haul of our scores but this was definetly a team performance and gives us a sound base for the challenge of toppling Feile winners Monaleen in the county final. We would also like to wish our Senior Hurlers the very best of luck on Sunday in what we hope will be a great weekend for the club.
