U13 Football & Hurling academys

Limerick Coaching & Games are organising County Under13 Schools of Excellence in hurling & football during the months of September, October and November.

The aim of these Schools of Excellence is to improve the skill level of our underage players and to allow them to develop their game to a higher level. This is a unique opportunity for four of your clubs top players to receive the best coaching and advice available within the county. These schools of excellence will be in preparation for the U-14 County teams for 2013. In early 2013 we will organise an U14 schools of excellence squad tournament which will serve as County trials for next year’s U-14 panels.

The Schools of Excellence will commence on Friday September 21^st and will run for the following dates alternating between Hurling & Football

Fri September 28^th (Hurling)

Fri October 5^th (Football)

Fri October 12^th (Hurling)

Fri October 19^th (Football)

Fri October 26^th (Hurling)

Fri November 9^th (Football)

Fri November 16^th (Hurling)

Fri November 23^rd (Football)

Fri November 30^th (Hurling)

The Schools of Excellence will be held at the following 3 centres:

• North Campus All Weather Facility UL @6:45pm
• Mick Neville Park @ 6:45pm
• Staker Wallace GAA Field @ 6:45pm

The Players will attend the venue that is closest to them

Limerick Coaching and Games committee would like you in consultation with your club coaches to identify suitable players from your club to attend our schools of excellence.

The following guidelines may help you in selecting these players,

• The players must have a high skill level.
• The players must display an active interest in developing their skill level and a commitment towards Gaelic Games.
• Please only send children who were born in 1999 only.
