Good win over Murroe-Boher

Kilmallock 2-11

Murroe Boher 0-4

We had an easier than expected win over Murroe Boher in the hurling championship last Monday evening in Kilmallock. This good team gave us quite a clipping in the Feile so we felt there was a score to settle and our lads performed very well on the night dominating the game from start to finish. There were many notable performances on the night from all over the field. The back line in general along with Jason in goals were very efficient keeping the opposition to only 4 points. The midfield and forwards kept the scoreoard ticking over at the other end and we led 2-5 to no score at half time. The lads refused to sit back in the second half and finished the game out comfortable winners. A special mention this week to Ruairi Conaghan who is one of our most improved players this year, he along with many others had a powerful game at wing back.
