Junior A South Hurling League Final

On Friday last Kilmallock put down a marker in the Junior A South Hurling League Final in Kilfinane on a score line of Kilmallock 2-18, Staker Wallace 0-13.
The first half was all nip and tuck and the Baalbec edged it to the break 0-8 to 0-7.
The second half was much better from a Kilmallock perspective and when Stephan Quirke hit the net to provide a breathing space. The stronger team finished with better individual displays all over the field, man of the match was Tomás English and Kevin O’Mahoney lifted the trophy afterwards.
