Vote for Kilmallock – text Gold followed by KILMALLOCK to 53095
Kilmallock is entered in the Going For Gold competition run by Limerick City and County Council.
The competition is designed to support the work done by tidy towns and community groups around Limerick.
The aim is to improve the appearance of the towns and villages around the county and to instil pride and involvement
among local communities in their own places.
The competition is generously sponsored by the JP McManus Foundation.

Some of the work done includes tree planting in the local parks, information signs on the streets, TLC Limerick Team
Clean, which had 65 people out picking litter and washing signs on Good Friday, The Love Kilmallock Day with the
community picnic. Other work includes river clean with the local fishing club and the planting of the sponsored trees on
the new riverside walk.
