Last minute change to the venue for next Saturday’s All-Ireland Club Hurling Semi-Finals. Due to the uncertainty concerning Semple Stadium both games have been transferred. The pitch in Thurles has been frozen and has not thawed in over a week and after careful consideration, officials took the decision to move the games.
Kilmallock will now play Portaferry in Cusack Park, Mullingar at 2 p.m.
The Gort v Ballyhale Shamrocks game will be played in O’Connor Park, Tullamore also at 2 p.m.
I would like to wish Killmallock all the best in the semi final stages, my former home town which i loved so well.
