Often when you ask about some of our former players that have emigrated you will be told by family or friends “oh, he’s hurling away over in Sydney” or “oh, he’s hurling away in Boston, with a club there”.
Attention all Club supporters – especially those of you in foreign parts. Kilmallock GAA are today, 17th January 2014, launching the “Hurling Away” appeal. Whether you are hurling away in Manchester, Melbourne, Montreal or Massachusetts we are encouraging supporters of the club, past players and friends of the club to send your hurling stories and hurling photographs home so that we can keep up to date with ‘your hurling story’ away from Kilmallock. We are offering a Kilmallock Hurling Jersey to the best photographs/story. The closing date is 31st January 2014. We will dispatch the jersey(plus some extra goodies) early February.
