2 wins out of 2 for U14s in hurling championship.

Kilmallock 4-8

Na Piarsaigh 1-4

An emphatic and solid display from back to front saw us overcome Na Piarsaigh last Wednesday night in Kilmallock. We started well with Anthony (1-2) and Gearoid (2-0) assisted by David Carroll setting the early pace up front and Dylan growing into his new position at midfield alongside the everbusy Cal. With Josh, Andrew and Liam mopping up nicely in defence we saw out the half leading 3-2 to 4 pts at the break. The boys did not sit on this lead though and with Ciaran (0-3) driving on the team from centreback we continued to dominate. Despite Jasons best efforts in goal, Na Piarsaigh did pull back a goal from a penalty but with Ruairi and Phelim on top in defence and further scores from David Woulfe (0-1), Aiden (0-1), Dylan (0-1) and Luke (1-0) we finished strongly on a scoreline of 4-8 to 1-4.

Next Fixture: U14 Hurling Championship home to Murroe Boher on 18/6 at 7.30. Meet at 6.50.

Training continues Fridays at 4
