WE were unlucky to be beaten by the Well in a tight encounter last Wed evening. The wind and the rain did not help either team but both teams are to be commended on their efforts. Playing into a strong wind we only trained by 3 points at halftime on a scoreline of 1-5 to 1-2.
With the wind driving us on in the second half, we dominated possession but unfortunately we could not convert our possession and in fairness to the Well, they were more clinical in front of goal and ran out winners by 4 points. Nevertheless this was a promising performance from this talented team and they continue to develop.
